Paypal As Payment In A Store?

I think I was in a store recently that had a sign saying they accepted Paypal but I don't remember where it was.  I remember when I set up my Paypal account, that you could get a debit card with it. I think I will look into getting a Paypal debit card. If Paypal expands to being a normal way to pay in stores, it would come in handy. I remember when credit cards first came out, you could not use them in grocery stores where I lived at the time, or in Dollar Stores. Both accept them now. Has anyone else seen a sign in a store that they accept Paypal?

Thanks for the info. I was in a Dollar Store last weekend, so that must have been where I saw it. I like to shop there for certain things because some of their prices are even better Walmart's. I got some great deals on their Christmas closeout sale. I got things like ribbon and bows that I can use next year. Some I can even use throughout this year on birthday presents-I just have to find birthday wrapping paper that has the right colors in it.

I've had a Paypal debit Mastercard for a few years now and it is accepted anywhere that takes Mastercard. You also earn a percentage of your purchases back each month. I think it's 1%.

I'm on my way to my Paypal to sign up right now. I am definitely interested in something that gives me an extra bonus!
