Nope no pats and no broncos, but the boys are excited about the game today anyway. I'm not, I'll make their pizza and put out snacks, but will play computer or watch a movie.

I wasn't planning on watching either. Then I found out a couple of days ago that my nephew and his band will be playing! Now, I've got to watch to see if I get to see them!

Keep an eye out for a little bluegrass-type band, Stalebread Scottie and his Gang, that'll be him. I don't love the type of music... but I do love my nephew! :D

I've never liked football and don't even follow the game. Some would say that football is a good way to distract Americans from what's really going on in the world and it's certainly a big money maker for the giant corporations. I know a lot of people enjoy all that but I'm not one of them.

I grew up in Dallas and my current city is about 30 miles from the stadium. Can you believe that not only did I not know which teams were playing, I didn't realize it was Superbowl Sunday today?

I am not following any teams...I am not watching...I don't give a darn who wins it. Can't stand the big hype and the millions of money spent in ads and food to watch a bunch of guys knock each other down while they earn megabucks.

I'm going to watch the game, I just hope that's it's competitive. And the way my Bulls are looking in basketball we are going to have a lot cheer about here pretty soon besides football.

I'm bemused by the people who say they just watch it for the commercials. All of the commercials, including the ones rejected for various reasons, are available on the internet at least a week before the game. And if they are glued to the TV during the commercials, they must be taking their breaks during the game. An advertiser's dream demographic!

Yeah, the ad teasers/previews are kinda a new thingy~in the past, it was all about anticipation...think the ad gods are shooting themselves in the foot with this. Decrease the level of surprise, there goes the excitement. But ad people are always shooting for something new & different, all with the premise that they deal with mostly stupid people (a marketing major here & spent enough years in the business!).

I'm not watching. Never do. My sympathy is with the Ravens only because my eldest son lives in Maryland, and I was always a fan of Poe. Otherwise I don't care.

I would be more excited for the game if my Steelers were playing. I watch it every year no matter who is playing. The only way I wouldn't watch is if my two least favorite teams are playing.

Couldn't get the TV tonite, but Joe tuned into the last of the game~he just informed me, the Falcons won 34-31...think it might be his anti-rejections meds!
